Integrative listening

What is Integrative listening?

Integrative listening, ILS System is based on the fact that we change our brain essentially rewiring it through specific and repeated stimulation, a concept known as neural plasticity. The Safe and Sound program and Focus Program comprise the Integrative listening treatments. We can bill neurological pathways at any age. The ILS system has a global effect on the brain and central nervous system. The ILS programs provide general and specific stimulation in order to activate neural pathways used in the
processing of century information. Neurological connections and knees pathways are strengthened and new connections are established through room created sessions multi-sensory input. We customize the program for each person and therapeutic goal.

The safe and sound program.

Now more than ever our world has uncertainty. People of all ages are struggling and suffering. Research and experience tell us that rapid social change and adverse life experiences are increasingly resulting in physical and mental health challenges including:

  • Social, emotional and attachment disorder‘
  • Auditory hypersensitivity
  • Body Organization
  • Nervous system dysregulation
  • Stress-related physical conditions
  • Sensory processing differences

Poly vagal theory

Poly vagal theory is the science of feeling safe. Poly vagal theory focuses on what’s happening in the
body and nervous system, and explores how our sense of safety or danger can impact our behavior.
The mind and body are connected through the Vegas nerve, the longest nerve in the autonomic nervous
system, stretching from the brain to the colon. The Vegas nerve helps us regulate many critical aspects
of human physiology including heart rate, blood pressure, sweating, digestion, and even speaking.
The Vegas nerve processes signals and cues and determines how we react in:

  • The parasympathetic, centered true self and social integration and connection.
  • Sympathetic state, feelings of threat or danger, flight or fight.
  • Dorsal vagal state our free system.

Middle Ear

The middle ear muscles actively damp and low-frequency background sounds and facilitates the ability to
hear and understand human speech. In the middle ear, muscles do not contract appropriately,
individuals tend to have sound sensitivities and difficulty using understanding speech in noisy
environments. This apparent problem has an adaptive advantage and functionally amplifies the ability to
hear very low-frequency sounds, which through the evolutionary history of mammals has been associated
with danger and predators. Psychological state some fear in humans also adaptively shift the function of
the middle ear muscles to promote states of hypervigilance anticipation of a predator while
compromising the ability to process the meaning of human speech. Thus if middle ear muscles do not
appropriately contract, low-frequency sound below the frequency range of human speech will be
perceived as loud and threatening.

The ability to recruit the middle ear muscles to contract and damp in
background sounds is compromised with aging. Also, the neural tone of these muscles has greatly
decreased in fearful situations, during a high fever, or even during states of physiological or psychological
stress. The decrease in muscle tone enhances the detection of low frequency sounds often associated with
predators. The middle ear muscles are the smallest muscles in the body. These muscles control the
rigidity of the small middle ear bones. The rigidity of these structures determines the intensity of low-frequency information reaching the inner ear and then to the brain.

Low-Frequency Sounds

The low frequency sounds to reach the inner ear can overwhelm the relatively soft sounds that characterized by the human voice, and we don’t
hear the ceiling sounds of others' voices and may misinterpret what they say and be calm defensive or
miss interpret the meaning. Be safe and sound program helps reshape the middle ear muscles and is
designed to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing social engagement, resilience, and
feeling safe. The intervention uses prosodic vocal music that has been filtered to train the middle ear

muscles to focus on soothing sounds in the frequency envelope of human speech. The safe and sound
protocol is intended to accelerate the Factive Ness of other modalities by preparing the client's
emotional and physiological state.

ILS total focus program

The ILS total focus program is a natural therapy for improving century processing skills and attention.
The I LS total focus program is a multi-sensory approach to brain fitness, just as you train your body to
become stronger and healthier the iOS focus system change the brain to better process century,
cognitive, and emotional input.
The Integrated Listening System has been utilized at some top clinics in the world to assist with ADHD,
learning disorders, autism, SPD in more. The focus program uses specifically treating music movement
and cognitive activities to help reach our full potential
The ILS program addresses the development of the home Brain plus body interpretation through a
stage developmental approach, starting with the fundamentals of century integration and then
extending through more complex cognitive functions including language, self-expression, and social
