Catheryn Tallant

Dr. Tallant completed her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Tampa, Florida; and holds a graduate certification in LGBT Health Policy and Practice from George Washington University.

Dr. Tallant completed her APA accredited doctoral internship in Health Psychology as well as her Post Doctoral Residency at Florida Gulf Coast University and has previously worked within college counseling centers, the juvenile justice system, school districts, Autism clinics, and within a private practice.

Dr. Tallant utilizes integrative approaches to tailor treatment to fit each client’s needs; often incorporating Interpersonal Process, multicultural, behavioral (CBT & DBT), strength and solution focused, family systems, and mindfulness approaches.

Some of the areas Dr. Tallant specializes in include interpersonal concerns, couples and families, young adults, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma informed therapy, and treatment for under-served and diverse communities. She treats anxiety and depression disorders, Adult and child attentive/concentration issues, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, phases of life transitions, adjustment disorders, motivation, and trauma resolution. Dr. Tallant also provides testing and assessment services.
